Introduced for preorder last January, the new Blackfin Vitra collection has officially entered the distribution phase and is now ready for delivery.
The remarkable response and preorder volumes recorded over the past months validate the strength of this project. This reception highlights the immense potential of the ultralight segment, successfully establishing a completely new product category within the Blackfin portfolio.
Vitra defines the intersection of titanium and a new concept of transparency. The front, crafted from the high-performance polymer VitraCore™, interacts seamlessly with minimalist components forged from a single block of aerospace-grade titanium. Weld-free construction and a patented, invisible micro-hinge elevate the frame into a sculptural design object, where the invisible gains form and substance.
Designed to merge aesthetics with mechanical reliability, the entire line combines material innovation with peak technical functionality. A standard lens-mounting system is maintained throughout the collection, ensuring efficient and universal lab processing.
Designed and crafted at the Black Shelter Sustainable Factory, Blackfin Vitra is now officially available for shipping.
