Following the sell-out success of the first edition, Blackfin announces the arrival of Prometheus Two, the sequel to a Limited Edition that propels the brand’s aesthetic language into a new avant-garde dimension. A true design manifesto that distills Blackfin’s technical mastery while expressing the brand’s purest, most authentic identity.
Milled with obsessive precision from a single solid block of titanium, Prometheus Two features sculpted profiles that reveal details of exceptional refinement. The design, defined by an oversized double bridge inspired by 1970s eyewear, ushers in a newly engineered rim design milled from a block of aluminum. Its lateral spoiler emerges from the inner structure of the frame, lending a distinctive sport-luxury attitude. The aesthetic is further elevated by two-tone gradient lenses and a hand-polished top bar finished with PVD using advanced Nano-Plating technology. Transparent grey acetate temple tips reveal the titanium core within, emphasizing the frame’s technical sophistication.
A refined chromatic alchemy unfolds across three exclusive versions: two iterations feature a PVD Obsidian Black Gold finish paired with aluminum rims in Light Gold or Ruthenium, each produced in 250 pieces; and a luminous PVD Light Gold version with Palladium rims, limited to just 150 pieces. Alongside this new edition, the iconic Prometheus One returns in Limited Edition with a subtle upgrade in its micro-details, sharing the same three color palettes for a perfectly cohesive visual dialogue between the two styles.
Each frame is individually numbered and laser-engraved in gold, epitomizing a unique expression of advanced Italian craftsmanship, designed and produced inside the Black Shelter Sustainable Factory.
Like the Greek mythological figure from which it takes its name - a symbol of courage and the drive to push beyond limits - Prometheus Two embodies Blackfin’s determination to carve out the boundaries of eyewear. And move beyond them.
Prometheus One and Prometheus Two are now available for pre-order and will make their official debut starting in May, exclusively through a select number of Blackfin optical partners worldwide.
